Stone House Insulation - NewtownIt’s amazing to see something so new fit this well with something so old!

This historic stone house in Newtown, PA was originally built in the 1750’s to protect its residents from the elements.

When the lot it was constructed on was purchased for commercial use, the historic house was moved 300 yards away to a residential lot, where it was gutted and refurbished into two separate apartment units.

The owners wanted to make sure the new tenants would stay much more comfortable than any other resident in the home’s 260 years. That’s when they called AGL Spray Foam for help!

In order to keep the apartments well insulated, our team installed spray foam directly to the stone interior walls, as well as the underside of the roof decking.

Which such extensive insulation, the house will keep all future residents cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Mother Nature will be thanking them, too, for reducing their carbon footprint by cutting out the need to use their HVAC system all year long!

New or old; tiny crawlspace or whole house; we’ve got the experience and know-how to give your home the insulation it requires to keep you comfortable year-round.
